Time is Flying

Hey guys!

Sorry for the lack of posts. I keep getting on here, writing a bit, and then being called away. We had a great 4th of July here at the Prepper household. We spent the day with good food, friends, and fireworks. I've been hitting the gym lately and have started up both a strength and weight goal. The goal- lose 15 lbs. I'm not big by any means (146lbs), but when I was the most "in shape" was about 3 years and 15lbs ago. My goal is to build up some strength, endurance, and better eating habits. My husband has been helping to motivate me to go to the gym (I asked him to) by going with me and working out with me. It's not much, but right now I'm running somewhere between 1 mile and 2 miles a day. Gotta start somewhere, right?

Now that I'm working on getting into the Air Force, I'm being motivated to take a little bit more care of myself so it won't hurt as much in boot camp... or after... Now I can't put it off, and I need to get it done. I'm really happy about it, and it'll make me have so much more energy and make doing my hobbies so much easier (i.e. rock climbing, hiking, ect.) Plus it gives me a reason to get up out of bed and/or off the couch.

I feel like the air is boiling here, because every time I walk outside it sticks to my skin and makes me feel disgusting. My husband doesn't seem to have the problem, but he's lived here longer than I have, and this is the first summer we've really ever gone outside here. I swear, Arizona's heat was a breath of fresh air when we picked up the toys.
